The next meeting will be held in conjunction with the Society for the Promotion of Roman Studies at 5.50 p.m. in the Runcie Lecture Theatre, Faculty of Divinity, Sidgwick Site, on Monday, 12 May. David Mattingly, Professor of Roman Archaeology at Leicester University, will speak on From mystery to history: the Garamantes of the Libyan Sahara. Members of the Society are invited to bring guests and students are welcome at all lectures.
