New Hall

COLLEGE LECTURESHIP IN ENGLISH

New Hall invites applications for a College Lectureship in English, for a fixed-term period of one year covering sabbatical leave. Applications would be welcomed from specialists in all fields, but the College's greatest teaching needs are in medieval literature and the period 1688-1847. The person appointed will be elected to a Fellowship, and will be expected to teach for twelve hours a week in Full Term, to direct studies for part of the Tripos, to engage in research, and to contribute to the life and running of the College. The salary scale applicable is currently £16,150 to £27,339.

The post is open to men and women, and appointment will be for a fixed term of one year only with no possibility of extension.
