Girton College

PERSONNEL OFFICER

Girton College requires a highly skilled and organized administrative officer to take charge of all aspects of the personnel service at Girton College. This is a challenging new post and applicants will be responsible for the development and implementation of a comprehensive, strategic employment policy for Girton's 200 full- and part-time employees. The Personnel Officer will provide practical and administrative support to College Officers, Heads of Departments, and Supervisors, and will be available to offer personnel advice to all employees.

Applicants should have a degree or equivalent professional qualification and CIPD training. Proven first-class administrative and communication skills are required, together with at least three years' experience at a senior level in HR or HR support.

The salary will be on the scale of £25,451 to £30,660 a year (based on a 35-hour week; 28 hours a week minimum). The College offers a good remuneration package including 34 days annual paid holiday and other benefits commensurate with working for a large Cambridge University College.
