The College invites applications for a postdoctoral Fellowship in Medical Sciences (The Isobel Laing Fellowship) to be taken up on 1 October 2003, or as soon as possible thereafter, for a period of five years (non-renewable). Preference will be given to applicants whose field of research is in Biochemistry.
The person appointed will be required to undertake up to six hours' tutorial teaching a week in Biochemistry for undergraduates studying Biochemistry and Medicine.
The College expects to appoint a suitably qualified person who already holds a position as a Research Assistant or Fellow (e.g. Royal Society, Wellcome, or Research Council) in a Department of the University. The posts will be held concurrently.
