St John's College

RESEARCH CENTRE FELLOWSHIPS IN COMPARATIVE EUROPEAN LAW

St John's College invites applications from suitably qualified men and women for one or two fixed-term Research Centre Fellowships for up to three years (without membership of Governing Body) with effect from 1 October 2003. The person or persons elected will have or be close to completing a doctorate in Law and will be required to undertake original research on A programme of comparative research into the impact of European law on the legal systems of member states under the direction of the organizers, Professors Mark Freedland and Paul Craig and Dr Simon Whittaker, Fellows of the College, and Dr Liz Fisher, Stipendiary Lecturer of the College. They will be provided with a room equipped with a computer and Internet connection in the College's Research Centre at St Giles'. The annual salary will be in the range of £18,000 to £20,000 a year.
