Applications are invited for the Mary Starun Scholarship in Polish Studies, tenable for one or two years from 1 October 2003. The Scholarship is intended, in particular, to encourage research into Polish history, literature, or language (preference will be given to candidates whose research falls in the period before 1800) and consists of free accommodation and meals as provided for junior members (or a cash allowance in lieu). The holder will normally (but not necessarily) be registered for a research degree at the University of Oxford.
