REGULATIONS FOR EXAMINATIONS: NOTICE BY THE GENERAL BOARD

The General Board give notice that, on the recommendation of the Faculty Board or other authority concerned, the regulations for certain University examinations have been amended as follows:

Medical and Veterinary Sciences Tripos

(Statutes and Ordinances, p. 336)

With effect from 1 October 2003

In order to enable students studying for the Medical and Veterinary Sciences Tripos to take advantage of the student exchange scheme between the University of Cambridge and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology the regulations for the Tripos have been amended by inserting a new Regulation 34 as follows:

Regulation 34.

34. A candidate who, under arrangements approved by the Faculty Board of Biology, has spent not less than three terms studying at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and has been certified by the President of the Institute after consultation with the Chairman of Examiners for Part II of the Medical and Veterinary Sciences Tripos to have studied diligently during that period, shall be deemed thereby to have obtained honours in Part II of the Medical and Veterinary Sciences Tripos. A list containing the names of persons so qualified shall be certified by the Chairman of the Faculty Board of Biology and published in the Reporter.
