Antiquarian Society

The 2003 Conference will be held at Lady Mitchell Hall, Sidgwick Avenue, on Saturday, 8 March from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The theme is Cambridgeshire - a land of plenty, focusing on the development of farming and the rural economy from the earliest times. Speakers will cover prehistoric Cambridgeshire, designs on the Fens, changing patterns of farming, transport, smallholdings for the unemployed 1935-82, and a history of Chivers & Sons.
