Corpus Christi College

PRECEPTOR IN PHYSIOLOGY

Corpus Christi College intends to appoint a Preceptor (College Supervisor) in Physiology to teach first-year undergraduates taking Physiology of Organisms IA in the Natural Sciences Tripos. Depending on the individual's background, experience, and interests, the Preceptor in Physiology would also be able to supervise parts of the Evolution and Behaviour course, and/or IB courses such as Physiology, Neurobiology, or Molecular Cell Biology. Typically supervisions are weekly during term and in groups of two. There may also be an opportunity to assist at Open Days and in the admissions process for prospective undergraduates.

The stipend for a Preceptor is currently £312 a year, plus supervision payments at standard rates, together with generous lunch, dining, and guest rights at High Table. The position is available from the beginning of the Easter Term 2003. Applicants should send a curriculum vitae and the names of two academic referees to the Senior Tutor, Corpus Christi College, Cambridge, CB2 1RH, by 13 March 2003.
