The White Paper 'The Future of Higher Education' (CM 5735) has been published and is available at the following URL: http://www.dfes.gov.uk/highereducation/hestrategy/pdfs/DfES-HigherEducation.pdf
Members of the University who wish to submit views for consideration by the University Council are invited to do so either by letter to the Administrative Secretary, University Offices, The Old Schools, Cambridge, or by e-mail to secretariat.online@admin.cam.ac.uk.
The Council will discuss the proposals in the White Paper at their meetings on 24 February and 17 March. The comments eventually made by the Council will be published.
