The College proposes to appoint a Stipendiary Lecturer in French with responsibility for teaching French literature in the period 1715 to the present. The position will be tenable from 1 October 2003 until 30 September 2005 with the possibility of renewal for a third and final year. The Lecturer will be required to undertake tutorial and class teaching of undergraduates up to a maximum of twelve hours a week averaged over the three terms of the academical year, to set and mark College examinations, and to participate in the admissions process.

The College expects to shortlist shortly thereafter and to hold interviews on 10/11 March. The College proposes to elect a Chaplain/Fellow from 1 October 2003 until 30 September 2008. The principal duty of the Chaplain will be the pastoral care of members of the College. The appointment is open equally to men and women, but is not renewable.
