Preachers before the University, 2003-04: Notice

The following persons have been appointed in the manner prescribed by Ordinance to preach before the University during the academical year 2003-04.

Michaelmas Term 2003

19 October The Revd Dr David Cornick, General Secretary of the United Reformed Church, formerly Principal of Westminster College.
2 November The Rt Hon Baroness O'Neill of Bengarve, Principal of Newnham College (The Lady Margaret's Preacher, Commemoration of Benefactors, Scarlet day).

Lent Term 2004

1 February Professor Turid Seim, Faculty of Theology, University of Oslo.
29 February The Rt Revd Dr Anthony Russell, Lord Bishop of Ely (Hulsean Sermon).

Easter Term 2004

9 May Ms Patricia Jones, Deputy Director, CAFOD.
16 May The Revd Canon Tim Dakin, General Secretary of the Church Mission Society (Ramsden Sermon).

University Sermons are delivered in Great St Mary's Church at 11.15 a.m. on the Sundays stated.

The Preacher at the Commemoration of John Mere, in St Benedict's Church at 11.45 a.m. on Tuesday, 20 April 2004, will be announced later.

The Preacher before the University at King's College, will be announced by the College.
