Gonville and Caius College

COLLEGE LECTURESHIP IN LAW

Applications are invited from men and women for the post of College Lecturer in Law. Applications are welcome from individuals with interests in any area of law taught within the Cambridge Law Tripos.

Candidates with particular interests in land law and equity (trusts) may be preferred. The successful candidate will be required to teach at the undergraduate level for up to six hours a week if they hold a post in the University or up to ten hours a week otherwise. The appointment will be for three years in the first instance, with the possibility of renewal for a further two years and thereafter reappointment to the retiring age. The annual stipend (subject to pay award pending) of a College Lecturer who does not hold University or other office is currently on a scale of £20,572 to £27,372 a year if non-resident in College and £18,621 to £25,421 a year if resident in College. It is intended that the person appointed will take up his or her Fellowship on or before 1 October 2003.
