Announcement of lectures, etc.

The following lectures, etc. will be open to members of the University and others who are interested:

Centre for Research in the Arts, Social Sciences, and Humanities (CRASSH). The Centre for Research in the Arts, Social Sciences, and Humanities (CRASSH) is pleased to announce the following conferences and lectures:

9-10 January Cultures of violence? (First day: 9.15 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. Second day: 9.15 a.m. to 5 p.m. at St John's College)

9-10 January Changing societies, changing knowledge (6 p.m. at Selwyn College)

30 January, 13 and 27 February Certainty, uncertainty, and meaning (lecture series, taking place at 8 p.m., in the Lloyd Room, Christ's College)

Conferences which are planned for later in the Lent Term include:

27-30 March Platonism at the origins of modernity (Clare College)

31 March-3 April Biographical knowledge (in conjunction with the Getty Research Institute) (Peterhouse)

9-12 April The organization of knowledge (Corpus Christi College)
