The following appointments and reappointment have been made:

Appointments

University Lecturers

Chemical Engineering. Dr Adrian Charles Fisher, B.Sc., East Anglia, D.Phil., Oxford, appointed from 1 April 2003 for three years.

Physics. Dr Thomas Anthony John Duke, M.A., Ph.D., T, appointed from 1 October 2002 until the retiring age.

Head of Department

Italian. Professor Zygmunt Guido Baranski, NH, appointed from 1 October 2002 for five years.

Departmental Secretary

Clinical Veterinary Medicine. Ms Judith Ann Drinkwater, M.A., G, appointed Departmental Secretary, Grade A, from 1 January 2003 for three years.

Administrative Officer

Finance Division. Ms YuQun Wu, B.A., Zhejiang, China, M.Sc., Anglia, appointed Administrative Officer, Grade I, from 22 October 2002 for three years.

Reappointment

Assistant Director of Studies

International Studies. Dr Charles Arthur Jones, W, reappointed from 1 January 2003 until the retiring age.
