Mansfield College, one of the self-governing Colleges of Oxford University, is seeking to appoint a new Bursar. As a Fellow of the College, reporting to the Principal and the Governing Body, the Bursar plays a pivotal role in the strategic and financial management of the College, as well as overseeing all its domestic, accommodation, and conference services.
Applicants will have a background that includes managerial experience at senior level, not necessarily in the academic sector. A good grasp of financial matters and excellent interpersonal skills are essential. Applications from those wishing to work less than full time will be considered.
An attractive package of up to £45,000 a year with excellent benefits including final salary pension scheme is on offer.
