REGULATIONS FOR EXAMINATIONS: NOTICE BY THE GENERAL BOARD

The General Board give notice that, on the recommendation of the Faculty Board or other authority concerned, the regulations for certain University examinations have been amended as follows:

With immediate effect

Regulation 26.

The regulation has been amended to take account of a change in the form of the examination in Special Subject Chemistry. Sections (c)-(e) have been reordered in the order (d), (e), and (c) and relettered accordingly, and the wording of section (b) has been amended so as to read:

(b) The examination in a particular Special Subject shall be as follows:

(i) The examination in Special Subject Chemistry shall consist of three written papers, each of one and a half hours' duration, and the submission of note-books as prescribed in section (c) below.
(ii) The examination in Special Subjects Human Impact on the Environment and Pathology shall consist of two written papers of three hours each and the submission of an additional exercise as prescribed in section (d) below.
(iii) The examination in Special Subject Physics shall consist of two alternative options, (A) and (B), as specified in section (e) below.

SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATIONS

The Faculty Board of Biology give notice of a change to the title for the subject Anatomy (Option (B)) to more closely reflect the content of the course. The title has been amended from 'Disease, Society, and Sexuality' to 'Health and Disease: Integrated Science and Skills', with effect from 1 October 2003.
