Candidates will be expected to draw on their experience in tendering, whole life costing evaluation, and contract management, and will arrange framework agreements in addition to assisting non-procurement staff to obtain value for money. Candidates will also have the opportunity to represent the University at meetings of the regional purchasing consortia.

For both posts, candidates will have strong analytical skills, will be self motivated, and will be able to prioritize and work to tight deadlines. Experience of public sector procurement, and a devolved budget operation would be an advantage.
