The Vice-Chancellor gives notice that he has accepted with gratitude a benefaction of about £195,000, which has been contributed by friends and colleagues of the late David Crighton, Professor of Applied Mathematics and Master of Jesus College, to establish a fund in his memory.
The Council are submitting a Grace to the Regent House (Grace 1, p. 224) for the approval of regulations to govern this benefaction.
