Modern Greek for Beginners: Notice

The Head of the Modern Greek section at the Department of Other Languages is pleased to announce that Dr Dimitris Karadimas will teach a Modern Greek language course for beginners.

This slow course consists of one hour a week of grammar and one hour a week of conversation. It aims to provide a basic knowledge of spoken and written Greek for travel or research purposes.

The first class will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, 16 October 2002 in Room 1.16, Faculty of Classics, Sidgwick Avenue. The course is open to all members of the University interested in learning Modern Greek. Advance registration is not required for this course.
