The following events are organized by the French Cultural and Scientific Delegation:
On Wednesday, 16 October, Olivier Todd, journalist and writer will give a lecture entitled Malraux, l'homme derriere l'ouvre, at 5 p.m. in the McCrum Lecture Theatre, Corpus Christi College. In association with Corpus Christi College.
On Thursday, 24 October, Florence Delay will give a lecture entitled Conference de l'Academie, at 5 p.m. in the McCrum Lecture Theatre, Corpus Christi College. In association with New Hall.
On Friday, 25 October, there will be a round table discussion with Jacques Roubaud and Florence Delay about the new translation into French of La Bible (Bayard, 2001). This will take place at 5 p.m. in the Bateman Auditorium, Gonville and Caius College. In association with Gonville and Caius College.
Sunday, 27 - Thursday, 31 October, Marcel Proust film season. In association with the Arts Picture House.
Monday, 28 October. 6 p.m. - 7.30 p.m. Heffers Bookshop, 20 Trinity Street. Launch of In Search of Lost Time, the new translation of A la Recherche du Temps Perdu (Penguin, 2002). In association with Heffers Bookshop and Penguin-Allen Lane.
