Graces to be submitted to the Regent House at a Congregation on 20 July 2002

The Council have sanctioned the submission of the following Graces to the Regent House at a Congregation to be held on 20 July 2002:

That the following person be admitted to the degree of Doctor of Philosophy by incorporation:

1. MARTIN JOHN MILLETT, Laurence Professor of Classical Archaeology in the Faculty of Classics, Fellow of Fitzwilliam College, Doctor of Philosophy of the University of Oxford (1983).

That the following person be admitted to the degree of Master of Arts by incorporation:

2. DAVID CLIVE WILSON (LORD WILSON OF TILLYORN), Master of Peterhouse, Master of Arts of the University of Oxford (1964).

That the following persons be admitted to the degree of Master of Arts under the provisions of Statute B, III, 6:

3. JEREMIAH OSTRIKER, Plumian Professor of Astronomy and Experimental Philosophy in the Institute of Astronomy, and Fellow of Clare College.

4. ELEANOR MARY BOLTON, Assistant Director of Research in the Department of Surgery.

5. JOHN ANDREW BRADLEY, Fellow of Wolfson College, and Professor of Surgery in the Department of Surgery.

6. EDWIN ROY CHILVERS, Fellow of St Edmund's College, Professor of Respiratory Medicine in the Department of Medicine.

7. NICHOLAS RODNEY MOLYNEUX WRIGHT, Fellow and Bursar of New Hall.

8. DANIEL BROCKINGTON, Fellow of New Hall.

9. PETER FORSTER, Fellow of New Hall.

10. PARWANJIT SINGH MINHAS, Clinical Lecturer in the Department of Surgery.

11. ADRIEN MICHAEL PETERS, Fellow of New Hall, and Professor of Nuclear Medicine in the Department of Radiology.

12. ALAN JOHN GRAHAM, Senior Technical Officer in the Department of Anatomy.
