The General Board, on the recommendation of the Committee of Management of the Institute of Criminology and with the concurrence of the Faculty Board of Law, have agreed to rescind Regulation 9 of the regulations for the management of the Institute (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 586), with effect from 1 October 2002. This regulation refers to an Advisory Council of the Institute. This Council has not met since 1992 and informal advisory committees are now in existence for each of the research centres within the Institute.
