Mansfield College

TUTORIAL FELLOWSHIP IN ENGLISH LITERATURE

Mansfield College and the Faculty of English propose to appoint a Tutorial Fellow in English Literature for a fixed term of thirteen months from 1 September 2002, to replace Dr Ros Ballaster during the final year of a Leverhulme Major Research Fellowship.

The Fellow will take part in the teaching and administration of English at Mansfield College, and will be required to teach twelve hours a week within the range of English Literature 1642-2002.

The Fellow will be also be required to give up to sixteen lectures in the academical year within the English Faculty, and to perform other duties as required. Specialisms in eighteenth-century literature and/or women's studies would be an advantage. The salary is currently £24,435 a year, plus USS.
