Cambridge eScience Centre

SCIENTIFIC FORUM

The first Cambridge eScience Centre Scientific Forum will be held on Tuesday, 18 June, at the Centre for Mathematical Sciences. Leaders of the wide range of scientific projects funded by the Cambridge eScience Centre, from chemistry and engineering to medicine and biology, will describe their progress to date. The meeting will also inaugurate UCamGrid, whose aim is to encourage the sharing of ideas and expertise in the application of escience in the University and to seek new funding for it.

The Cambridge eScience Centre is still actively seeking suitable projects to propose for funding to the eScience Directorate. Potential project partners and others who are interested in escience are invited to attend the meeting.

The meeting will commence at 1.30 p.m. in Meeting Room 3 of the CMS, with a closing wine reception at 5.30 p.m. Please e-mail admin@escience.cam.ac.uk if you would like to attend. The details of this and other forthcoming Cambridge eScience Centre events may be found on the Cambridge eScience Centre website at http://www.escience.cam.ac.uk/events.html.
