Elections, appointments, and reappointments

The following elections, appointments, and reappointments have been made:

Elections

Dr S. F. Deakin, M.A., Ph.D., PET, Reader in Economic Law, elected Robert Monks Professor of Corporate Law from 1 October 2001 until the retiring age.

Professor M. J. Kelly, M.A., Ph.D., Sc.D., TH, B.Sc., M.Sc., Victoria University of Wellington, FRS, FREng, Professor of Physics and Electronics and Director of the Centre for Solid State Electronics, University of Surrey, elected Prince Philip Professor of Technology from 1 September 2002.

Professor N. W. Phillips, B.Sc., M.B.A., Calgary, Ph.D., Alberta, Associate Professor, McGill University, Montreal, elected Beckwith Professor of Management Studies from 1 January 2002.

Professor W. Ernst, Dr iuris, Bonn, LL.M., Yale, Professor for Roman Law and Civil Law, Tuebingen University, elected Arthur Goodhart Visiting Professor of Legal Science from 1 October 2002 to 30 September 2003.

Professor A. H. Zewail, B.S., M.S., Alexandria, Egypt, Ph.D., Pennsylvania, Linus Pauling Professor of Chemistry, Professor of Physics, and Director of the NSF Centre, the Laboratory for Molecular Sciences, California Institute of Technology, elected John Wilfred Linnett Visiting Professor of Chemistry from 20 June 2002 to 19 July 2002.

English. Miss S. Cromey reappointed Librarian, Grade B, from 15 February 2003 to the retiring age.

Correction
