Centre for Research in the Arts, Social Sciences, and Humanities: Notice

SUFFERING HISTORY CONFERENCE

A two-day conference entitled Suffering history: martyrdom in Britain, 1401-1570 (sponsored by the Centre), will be held on 1 and 2 July 2002, at Queens' College. The conference will focus on the dramatic and memorialized deaths of exemplary figures from periods of decisive historical transition such as the Protestant Reformation.

The closing date for registration is 7 June.
