Industrial links are strongly encouraged especially through collaborative research projects and personal consultancy. The Whittle Laboratory is a member of the Rolls-Royce University Gas Turbine Partnership. The appointee will be expected to play his/her part in the teaching of the four-year engineering course, particularly in the fields of Fluid Dynamics, Thermodynamics, and Turbomachinery, leading to the B.A. and M.Eng. Degrees.
