Lucy Cavendish College

CENTRE FOR WOMEN LEADERS

Mrs Sarah Gull, Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, West Suffolk Hospital; Course Director, Graduate Medical Course, Lucy Cavendish College; Fellow, Lucy Cavendish College, will give a paper entitled Role models in women's medical education in Warburton Hall, Lucy Cavendish College on Tuesday, 30 April, at 5.30 p.m. for a 5.45 p.m. start. FELLOW AND COLLEGE LECTURER IN ENGLISH

Lucy Cavendish College invites applications from women* for a Fellowship and College Lectureship in English, with effect from 23 September 2002. Lucy Cavendish College admits women of 21 years and over as undergraduates and graduates. The successful candidate will have interests in teaching and research in any field or period in English literature and will be expected to teach across a range of undergraduate courses. Experience of teaching mature students would be welcome.

The appointment will be for three years in the first instance with the possibility of renewal for periods of five years at a time, and is subject to the Statutes and Ordinances of the College.

The stipend of the College Lecturer, which can be pensionable under USS, will be at a point on a scale beginning at £18,731 depending on age and experience.
