GERARD DAVID EVANS, M.A., Ph.D., University Lecturer in Economics and Politics 1969-98, Fellow of Emmanuel College 1962-2002, died on Sunday, 31 March 2002, aged 65 years. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, 11 May, at 12 noon in Emmanuel College Chapel.
CéSAR MILSTEIN, C.H., Ph.D., Sc.D.(Hon), FRS, Emeritus Fellow of Darwin College and Honorary Fellow of Fitzwilliam College, formerly Head of the Division of Protein and Nucleic Acid Chemistry, MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology, Cambridge, died on Sunday, 24 March 2002, aged 74 years.
HERCHEL SMITH, Honorary Fellow of Emmanuel College, died on Thursday, 20 December 2001, aged 76 years.
The Editor regrets that the surname in the Obituary Notice of Reporter, p. 659, is incorrect. The Notice should read as follows:
DOROTHY MARY OWEN, MBE, Curator of the University Ecclesiastical Archives, 1968-87, Keeper of the University Archives, 1978-87, Fellow of Wolfson College, 1969-2002, died on Wednesday, 13 February 2002, aged 81 years.
