COLLEGE LECTURESHIP IN CLASSICS

Girton College seeks to appoint a temporary College Lecturer and Director of Studies in Classics from 1 October 2002 for a fixed term of two years. The appointment will be in association with Clare College to provide cover for the present Fellow, who has been awarded a Major Research Fellowship by the Leverhulme Trust. The lecturer will be required to teach in small group supervisions for twelve hours a week during academic terms, and to play a full part in the administrative aspects of College teaching in Classics.

The stipend payable will be equivalent to point 10 on the general scale of stipends for University officers (presently £21,503) and will be pensionable under the USS. The person appointed will be elected to a Bye-Fellowship.
