Centre for Research in the Arts, Social Sciences, and Humanities: Notices

CONFERENCE ON ENCYCLOPAEDISM AND ENLIGHTENMENT

A one-day seminar on Encyclopaedism and Enlightenment, jointly organized by the Centre for Research in the Arts, Social Sciences, and Humanities, and King's College Research Centre, will be held on Thursday, 11 April, in the Wine Room at King's College. The seminar will commence at 11.30 a.m., and will focus particularly on the work of Professor Richard Yeo. There is no registration charge, but because of limitations of space the number of those attending will be restricted.

REPRESENTING KNOWLEDGE: EXPLORING COMPUTATIONAL TECHNIQUES: WORKSHOP

A two-day workshop organized by the Centre for Research in the Arts, Social Sciences, and Humanities, on Representing knowledge: exploring computational techniques, will be held on Thursday, 18, and Friday, 19 April, in Room 3, Mill Lane Lecture Rooms. The workshop will explore how the application of technology is contributing to and influencing the development of research in the arts, social sciences, and humanities.
