TEMPORARY LECTURESHIP IN ENGLISH

Applications are invited from men and women for appointment to a Temporary Lectureship in English from 1 October 2002 for two years. Consideration will be given to candidates with interests in teaching and research in any field or period of English Literature from the Middle Ages to the present day. The successful candidate will be expected to teach across a range of undergraduate courses. The stipend, determined according to age and qualifications, will be on a scale comparable with that for University Lecturers.

Applications should be made to the Senior Tutor, Trinity College, Cambridge, CB2 1TQ (e-mail seniortutor@trin.cam.ac.uk), from whom further particulars may be obtained, not later than 15 April 2002. Applications must include a statement of qualifications, publications and teaching experience, and the names of not more than three referees. Candidates should ask their referees to write direct to the Senior Tutor by the closing date.
