The Finance Manager, a key College appointment, is responsible for all accounting activities and management of the accounts team. Reporting to the Senior Bursar, the Finance Manager is accountable for the day-to-day control of the accounts function; production and presentation of regular management information to Departments; production of annual statutory and management accounts for the College and its subsidiaries; development of management accounting, budgetary, internal controls, and College planning and payroll systems to ensure maximum efficiency; professional, financial, and accounting support to the Bursar including insurances and pensions.
The post-holder must be a professionally qualified accountant, have a previous successful track record of financial management, and will possess excellent interpersonal skills to relate at all levels. Experience within the education and/or charity sectors could be an advantage, but is not essential.
The stipend is offered is circa £40,000 plus benefits according to experience.
