Graces submitted to the Regent House on 20 March 2002

The Council submit the following Graces to the Regent House. These Graces, other than any which is withdrawn or for which a ballot is requested in accordance with the regulations for Graces of the Regent House (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 113), will be deemed to have been approved at 4 p.m. on Friday, 29 March 2002.

1. That the recommendations in paragraph 5 of the Report of the General Board, dated 25 February 2002, on the establishment of a Professorship of Learning Disability Psychiatry (Reporter, p. 576) be approved.

2. That, on the recommendation of the Library Syndicate, the Librarian be allowed to lend the following items:

(i) to the Episcopal Seminary, Bruges, for the exhibition 'Cloistered world, open books', from 16 August to 17 November 2002, the manuscripts Gg.1.17 and Nn.3.5.
(ii) to the Plantin-Moretus Museum, Antwerp, for the exhibition 'Tyndale's Testament', from 2 September to 1 December 2002, five sixteenth-century English printed books: Davids psalter (1534); The practyse of prelates (1530); The cofutacyon of Tyndales answere (1533); The workes of W. Tyndall, John Frith, and Doct. Barnes (1573); Herwologia Anglica (1620) (classmarks Syn.8.53.89, Syn.8.53.66, Sel.3.135, F8.18, and SSS.40.19).
