Merton College

FIXED-TERM FELLOWSHIP IN ANCIENT HISTORY

Merton College proposes to elect to a fixed-term Fellowship and Tutorship in Ancient History, tenable for three years from October 2002. Candidates should have broad interests in Ancient History, an active research record, and the ability to teach effectively over a wide range. Some knowledge of Greek and/or Roman archaeology would be an advantage. The salary will be on the scale of £20,470 to £34,734 a year, depending on age, and the Fellow will be entitled to meals in College, and to other benefits.
