There will be a Memorial Service for Sir Dimitri Obolensky, Student, 1950-1985, and Emeritus Student of Christ Church since 1985; Fellow, 1942-48, and Honorary Fellow of Trinity College Cambridge, 1991; Visiting Scholar, 1952, 1963-64, 1977, and Byzantine Fellow, 1981, Dumbarton Oaks Center for Byzantine Studies, Harvard. The Service will take place on Saturday, 18 May at 2.30 p.m. in Christ Church Cathedral.
