Newnham College and Trinity College

LECTURESHIP IN SOCIAL AND POLITICAL SCIENCES

Applications are invited from men and women for appointment to a College Lectureship in Social and Political Sciences, to take effect from 1 October 2002. The person appointed will be expected to contribute to the teaching of the politics or sociology papers in the Social and Political Sciences Tripos, to direct studies and accept other related duties for both Colleges, and to be active in research. The appointment will be for three years and may be renewed for up to two further years, subject to review.

The pensionable salary will be incremental within a scale equivalent to that of University Assistant Lecturer (currently from £19,681 to £24,435 a year) or University Lecturer (currently from £22,522 to £34,734 a year), depending on experience.
