Examination in Finance for the degree of Master of Philosophy, 2002: amendments

The Degree Committee for the Judge Institute of Management Studies give notice that the following subjects for examination have been added to the list of Group 2 (optional) subjects for the examination in Finance for the M.Phil. Degree, 2002, published on 24 October 2001 (Reporter, p. 111).

Advanced econometrics II (S330 of the examination in Economics: three-hour written examination)

Time series and Monte Carlo inference (Part III of the Mathematical Tripos: three-hour written examination)

Mathematics of operations research (Part III of the Mathematical Tripos: three-hour written examination)

Globalization, big business, and developing countries (MP13 of the examination in Management Studies: one essay of 4,000 words)

Real options for engineering systems (CMI-3 of the examination in Management Studies: 45-minute class assignment and project report of 2,500 words)

Institutions of the modern corporation (CMI-4 of the examination in Management Studies: one essay of 4,000 words and class presentation)

The Degree Committee are satisfied that no candidate's preparation for the examination in 2002 will be adversely affected by these amendments.
