REGULATIONS FOR EXAMINATIONS: NOTICE BY THE GENERAL BOARD

The General Board give notice that, on the recommendation of the Faculty Board or other authority concerned, the regulations for certain University examinations have been amended as follows:

Oriental Studies

(Statutes and Ordinances, p. 371)

With immediate effect

Part I

Regulation 14.

By inserting in line 2 after the words 'the written papers' the words 'or other alternative exercises'.

Option (11) A modern European language

By adding as a footnote to subsection (b) of this option the following:

With the approval of the Faculty Board of Oriental Studies, a candidate who takes a paper listed in the Schedule which is marked with a dagger, may submit a portfolio of essays under the conditions set out in Regulation 23 of the Modern and Medieval Languages Tripos (p. 333).

Part II

Regulation 15.

By inserting in line 3 after the words 'the written papers' the words 'or other alternative exercises'.
