King's College

CENTRE FOR HISTORY AND ECONOMICS PRIZE RESEARCH GRANTS

The Centre will be awarding a number of Prize Research Grants in the academic year 2002-03. Students intending to study for the M.Phil. in Economic and Social History, in Political Thought and Intellectual History, in Economics, or for other M.Phil. programmes of the University of Cambridge will be eligible to apply. These Prize Research Grants will provide access to the Centre's facilities, a book grant, and funding towards research-related travel (up to a total value of £600). Prize Research Grants require a separate application, in addition to that of the University. Applicants should submit a completed application form and a statement of research interests. Two letters of reference should be sent directly to the Centre. It is not expected that the research statement will contain a definitive proposal, but a statement of interests and research plans.

The deadline for receipt of applications is Friday, 26 April 2002. Application forms can be downloaded from the College's website at http://www.kings.cam.ac.uk/histecon/. They are also available from the Prize Research Grants Competition, Centre for History and Economics, King's College, Cambridge, CB2 1ST (e-mail ihm@kings.cam.ac.uk).
