Jesus College

A concert in memory of Mr E. F. Mills M.A., FRICS, Fellow, 1975-1981, and Emeritus Fellow, 1981-2001, will take place in the College Chapel at 8.30 p.m. on Sunday, 24 February 2002.

DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

Jesus College wishes to recruit a full-time Development Officer whose primary function will be to assist the Development Director by taking responsibility for defined elements of the development programme. The salary will be in the range of £17,000 to £20,000 a year, and will be settled by reference to previous experience.

Duties will include managing the alumni relations programme, donor stewardship, and development and implementation of fund-raising initiatives aimed at younger alumni.

The ideal applicant will have been educated to degree level, be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, with knowledge of Access or other database systems, and possess sound organizational and administrative abilities. A flexible and professional approach to the job are essential for this post, together with good presentation, and written and verbal communication skills. Previous experience of working in a professional fundraising office or knowledge of the College system would be desirable.
