King's College

DEAN OF CHAPEL

The College intends to appoint an ordained member of the Anglican Communion to the position of Dean from 1 October, 2002 or as soon as possible thereafter. The Dean will become a Fellow and take a full part in the intellectual life of the College. He or she will have overall authority in the Chapel and responsibility for its liturgical life and administration under the Governing Body. He or she will provide, along with the Chaplain, spiritual and pastoral support to all members of the College.

TRAPNELL RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP IN CELL AND DEVELOPMENTAL BIOLOGY

TRAPNELL RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP IN ORGANIC CHEMISTRY

King's College wishes to appoint two Trapnell Fellows, one in Cell and Developmental Biology and one in Organic Chemistry. These Fellowships are non-stipendiary, but offer a retainer of £1,000 a year, and full Fellowship rights, which include free meals, subsidized accommodation, office space, and limited funds for research expenses. A Trapnell Fellow is expected to teach six hours a week during term for the College (for which additional payment is paid), and to take a full part in the life of the College.

Each Trapnell Fellowship may be held from 1 October 2002 to 30 September 2006. The closing date for applications is 18 February. Interviews will be held on 13 March.
