Graces submitted to the Regent House on 16 January 2002

The Council submit the following Graces to the Regent House. These Graces, other than any which is withdrawn or for which a ballot is requested in accordance with the regulations for Graces of the Regent House (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 113), will be deemed to have been approved at 4 p.m. on Friday, 25 January 2002.

1. That, notwithstanding Grace 10 of 12 December 2001, the Board of Continuing Education and the Appointments Committee for the Board be discharged on 28 February 2002, and that until that date they discharge the functions assigned to them by the previous regulations for the Board and other applicable regulations, mutatis mutandis in respect of the Institute of Continuing Education and the Cambridge Programme of Industry.1

2. That the ICL Research Studentship be retitled the Fujitsu Studentship and that references in the regulations to International Computers Limited and ICL be amended to Fujitsu.2

1 This Grace makes transitional provision to provide for the Board of Continuing Education and the Appointments Committee to continue to function until 28 February 2002, by which date the Council for Life Long Learning, the Management Boards for the Institute of Continuing Education and the Cambridge Programme for Industry, and the relevant Appointments Committees, which will be formally in existence from 1 January 2002, will be fully operational.
