QUANTUM INFORMATION THEORY AND TECHNOLOGY POSTDOCTORAL POSITIONS AND RESEARCH STUDENTSHIPS

Applications are invited for two-year postdoctoral positions and three-year research studentships available from 1 October 2002.

The successful candidates will join a theoretical and experimental collaboration between a number of Departments at Cambridge University and at MIT, which is funded by the Cambridge-MIT Institute.

The collaboration extends across the whole of quantum information theory and technology. Its aim is to create designs for quantum logic devices, architectures for quantum computers, and algorithms for quantum computers and quantum communication systems.

Applications should include a curriculum vitae (including a statement of the candidate's age) and a list of publications and SHOULD BE IN PLAIN TEXT. Candidates should also ask two referees to write in support, again IN PLAIN TEXT.
