New College in association with University College

FELLOWSHIP IN CLASSICAL PHILOSOPHY ASSOCIATED WITH A LECTURERSHIP AT UNIVERSITY COLLEGE FROM 1 OCTOBER 2002

New College proposes to elect an Official Fellow and Tutor in Classical Philosophy, with effect from 1 October, 2002. The Fellowship is associated with a Lecturership at University College. The Colleges welcome applications from those interested in research in any aspect of Classical Philosophy. They will wish to elect an applicant capable of offering tutorial teaching not only in Classical Philosophy (for the School of Literae Humaniores and other Schools), but also in areas of modern philosophy.

The total stipend will be £25,046 a year (irrespective of age), plus allowances. The appointment will be pensionable under the USS scheme.
