Trinity College

TEACHING APPOINTMENT AND FELLOWSHIP IN BIOLOGICAL SCIENCE

Applications are invited from men and women for appointment from 1 October 2002 to a College Lectureship in Biological Science, tenable for five years in the first instance. The successful applicant will assist in supervising and directing studies in biological subjects of the Natural Sciences Tripos as well as in student admissions. Consideration will be given to candidates with interests in teaching and research that lie within one or more of the fields of animal biology, plant biology, ecology, biochemistry, cell biology, or molecular biology, although applications from candidates in whole organism biology are especially solicited.

The Lectureship will require six hours per week of College teaching (for twenty weeks per year) and will be tenable together with another salaried academic appointment in Cambridge. The successful applicant will be elected into a Fellowship of the College.
