Second Veterinary M.B. Examination (Revised Regulations), 2002

The Faculty Board of Biology give notice that the form of the examination in Preparing for the Veterinary Profession (B) for the Second Veterinary M.B. Examination, which will be held for the first time in 2002, will be as follows:

Preparing for the Veterinary Profession (PfVPB)

Assessment of the subject Preparing for the Veterinary Profession will test candidates' knowledge and understanding of the material covered by the course. The assessment will take the form of a workbook which has to be completed by all candidates, with a number (not less than 30, and not more than 50) of computer-markable questions. Students will be expected to answer these questions using their own knowledge, consulting appropriate texts, CAL packages, and other sources of information as appropriate.

Students will be required to collect the workbook from the Department of Clinical Veterinary Medicine at the beginning of the Lent Term, and will be required to attend a 15-minute session on the last day of Full Lent Term where they will transcribe the answers to the questions contained in the workbook onto a computer-markable sheet.
