St John's College

APPOINTMENT OF DEAN

St John's College proposes to appoint a Dean, to take office on 1 October 2002 or as soon as possible thereafter, following the retirement of The Revd Dr A. A. Macintosh. The person appointed will be elected to a Fellowship and may be appointed to a College Lectureship in a relevant subject. The Dean will be required to undertake pastoral work among all resident members of the College and will be responsible for the conduct of worship in the College Chapel. The person appointed should be a Clerk in Holy Orders within the Church of England.
