Historical Tripos, Part II, 2002

The Faculty Board of History give notice that, with effect from the examinations to be held in 2002, the form of the examination for Part II of the Historical Tripos will be changed as follows:

Section B

Political Thought

Paper 4.  The History of political thought from c. 1700 to c. 1890

Candidates for Part II of the Historical Tripos who are also offering Paper 8, Sieyès, Robespierre, and political thought in the age of the French Revolution, may not offer starred questions related to Section A, Topic 10 (Constant), and Section B, topics B19 and B20 (The political thought of the French Revolution and Dissent: the Politics of rights in late eighteenth-century Britain) in this Paper (Paper 4).
